🌙 Pillow Thoughts — Sleep, Doomscrolling, and a Questionable Schedule

Sleep Is Fake and I’m Tired


Hello.
Just sitting here stuck in the YouTube rabbit hole when I started thinking about a conversation me and my bro were having about sleep schedules.

He casually mentioned he goes to bed around 9pm, latest 10.
Which honestly stunned me.

Earlier he had asked me about my sleep and I told him I usually get like… 3–4 hours max.
Bed around 1–3am.
Up at 5-6 for work.

Dude was absolutely stunlocked like I just confessed to something criminal.

After talking with more friends, I realized I’m kinda the odd one out — living life off one small nap a day. And trust me, I’ve tried to fix it.

Lay down early? Doomscroll.
Lights off? No phone? Brain goes full rent-free mode. Just thoughts. Endless thoughts.

And be real with me — does anyone else ever get that good 6–8 hours of sleep and somehow feel worse than if you just napped for 3?

Because every time I finally crash hard, I wake up groggy, slow, just… ugh.

So for now, wrapping up with me and my demons, doomscrolling till I’m tired and taking my lil nap seems to do the trick.

For now.

That said… I’m pushing 30. I’m not sure how long this methhead gamer sleep schedule is gonna hold up 😭

Anyway… random segue — I really need to get back into Shadowverse Worlds Beyond. I’ve been seeing it everywhere lately and apparently a new event mode dropped.

Also thinking about a fighting game arc. I even bought a leverless controller like a dumbass, so I guess I’m committed. Tell me Tekken 8 doesn’t look straight gas though?

Alright… I gotta get back to the YouTube Short I paused to write this.
